Meet Chef Tony Tone
Born and raised in the Tidewater area of Virginia, Chef Tony Tone has been in the kitchen all his life. From doing homework at the table with his siblings to making Thanksgiving meals for family and loved ones, cooking has always been a part of his life. After years of working, grinding, and managing in various kitchens, Chef Tony Tone decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a culinarian by attending the Culinary Institute of Virginia. Graduating near the top of his class, he took his degree to Walt Disney World, where he worked as a chef, first at The Hollywood Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios and later at Le Cellier in Epcot. Unfortunately, in March 2020, he was furloughed by Walt Disney World due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This marked the beginning of his journey in Orlando as a personal chef. Promoting himself, Chef Tony Tone quickly became one of the most sought-after and influential personal chefs in Central Florida. Now, with Candee Lee’s Soul House, he pays tribute to his mother, who made countless sacrifices for her son.
